Environmental
waste management
to reduce your carbon impact

Reducing carbon is an objective at the forefront of manufacturers’ minds.

Axil’s environmental waste management will ensure you’re adhering to the waste hierarchy, and eliminating and reusing materials before sending them down a disposal route.

of waste

Materials that are destined for disposal will be segregated and sent for recycling.

For waste that must be disposed of, we will optimise disposal routes to reduce transport journeys, and consider the carbon impact of the final fate of your waste.

Transporting waste

Axil’s in-house transport department plans waste collection routes to minimise driving time to help reduce our customers carbon footprint.

Our drivers are trained in efficiency, providing fuel-saving techniques. Axil drivers drive ‘defensively’ not aggressively. Aggressive drivers that accelerate and brake rapidly use between 15-30% more fuel.

Our vehicle tracking system provide us with real time data that scores our drivers on their efficiencies. Should this flag any warnings we can act immediately and re-train our drivers.
