Axil Integrated Services receives RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety achievements

Axil Integrated Services based in Cannock is celebrating after landing a RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award for  working hard to ensure its staff, visitors and contractors get home safely to their families at the end of every working day.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants strive to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running Health & Safety industry awards.

Dr Mark Pennington, Director EQHS said: “Gaining this internationally recognised award is a wonderful achievement and is testament to the culture we continue to embed at our main hazardous waste operational site in Cannock.

The award supplements our ISO 45001 certification demonstrating our high health and safety standards. All of our staff are on board with our approach to zero accidents and interdependence.

Interdependence is a journey, not a destination and it is a pathway that has the full and active support of the management board”.
